- When my aunt took me to the Dreamcatcher Playground she told me about how when she was a little girl her best friend was handicapped. She told me she remembers having to leave her behind when asked to play on the playground. My aunt said that she is very proud that people care enough to build the Dreamcatcher Playground.
- I like the Dreamcatcher Playground and special needs kids should have a life too. Thank you for building it; you made them have a life.
- Because of the Dreamcatcher Playground I have learned to be nice to people that have disabilities.
- I think it’s helped a lot of disabled children have fun like us other kids.
- I think that all kids should get to play on the playground because it wouldn’t be fair; and if I couldn’t play on the Dreamcatcher Playground then I would be sad.
- I think it is a good way to make friends.
- It’s the best playground I have ever been on.
- I like the playground because special people can go on it.
- I like the buck swings because they are easy to get into them.
- I can’t wait to get the next part; it’s my favorite playground.
- It is so much fun. I love getting on top of the monkey bars and hanging upside down.
- I think it’s good because kids with disabilities can have a good time.
- I like that children can all play, even ones with disabilities.

- The Dreamcatcher Playground is one of the many reasons that I feel so blessed to have my children enrolled in the finest school district in the great state of Oklahoma.
- All children need to be included, and this is the only playground that offers this opportunity.
- You could not invest your money in anything greater than the future of our children, of all abilities.
- We love the play ground; it’s colorful, artistic, innovative and fun!
- When Austin’s leg was broken and he was using a walker, he could still play with his friends on the playground and that made him happy.
- My children love their time on the play ground; it’s one of the things about Choctaw Elementary that makes them happy to go there.
- We are so thankful we have a place for our children to get much needed exercise in a safe environment.
- Every week my child talks about what she did on the playground; she loves it.
- It is a blessing to have some place safe and for my son to be able to have a great time playing.
- We have watched the playground develop over the past three years in our neighborhood and feel it is an asset to the kids for bonding with other kids who have disabilities. The Dreamcatcher Playground also provides quality time for us as a family.

- For me, the biggest reward is to see the handicapped children be able to play without restriction. We are not holding them back. Where else can these children go to be as normal as the other children? Nowhere that I know of! To see them grow and get stronger because of play is awesome. This playground is a way for them to be able to interact with the other children. Our handicapped children want to be free to run and play just like our regular kids. They bring a big smile to my heart when I see the smiles on their faces.
- During the 2008-09 school year I have seen a significant increase in socialization with one special needs child in particular. She is age 10, and due to childhood trauma, she is selective deaf-mute. Several of my 4th grade students used the Dreamcatcher Playground as a springboard to interact with her and include her in play. Without the playground, I’m afraid that would not have happened.
- I have boys in my class who play basketball with a handicapped boy. His favorite activity is to steal the ball so the kids will chase him. They are very good with this boy.
- The disabled kids are much more engaged with the nondisabled kids. They have better self esteem too.
- My class is allowed a quick A.M. recess in order to focus for the day.
- My students are able to utilize the playground now!
